MILANO!!!

Sorry, but we have few pictures of Milan...so tired from driving!
Arriving in town, we returned the car and ran to 4Cento where the show was.

Here, Ramiro Levy helping us with the equipment.. special thanks to Daniel Plentz and Ramiro!! Great drum set...amazing biiiiiiiiig sound!

A beautiful place with an amazing garden, but unfortunately the rain would come soon after, and it made the party happen on the inside, which was as beautiful as the outside.

Only soundcheck pictures!

The treatment was super special VIP!!!!!! After the show we had a wonderful dinner, which as usual in Italy, could only be delicious.

The "Avenida Brasil" party happens every Sunday at 4Cento hosted by Monica Paes. "Avenida Brasil" is also the name of her program in Radio Popolare.

The best part of being in Milan is always reuniting with dear friends as Monica Paes, Ramiro Levy, Eduardo Dechtiar, Ricardo Fischmann and Daniel Plentz...the guys from SELTON!!

People always very lively, fun and with a super good mood!

The city!!! Piazza del Duomo and...
...San Bernardino alle Ossa!! "Metal" Church!! Many skulls!

Look at this small video of "Dirty Shoes, Balls and Old Songs" at 4Cento.

VENEZA!

This is a post that we don't need to talk about too much to illustrate.
Between our 2 last shows in Roncà and Milan we went to Venice to check it out.
As you know, we always like to talk about and photograph places we go through. Not always we have time and sometimes we don't register any images. Despite the fact there was no show in Venice, we thought it would be nice to show a little bit of this town.

The architecture and the whole concept of this city is amazing and unique. One of the most interesting cities we have ever been to.

Classic Gondola!

A special visit from Paula's mom who was with us when we were in Italy: Necy!

Crystals from Murano!

Masks!

The weather was great and the sun was warm. We miss a little heat on our bodies.

In this difficult place to find a bathroom, nothing like "taking a leak" at Bar Xixi! Maybe a lot of tourists have gone there asking to go to the bathroom, and he named this place like this.
However, don't think you will get relief for free!

This city is basically filled up with tourists 24/7, but it is a place worth while going to.

Time to go to the next show. We took the "bus" to exit the city.

It was all very quickly, and we recommend this trip. It must be really hard to be a musician in Venice. We image how hard it is to play there and carry around the equipment between the canals...

RONCÀ, VERONA

Moving on with our Italian tour to the second stop: Roncà in the province of Verona.
It was a small and beautiful town with a real rock 'n roll venue called Jack The Ripper.
This picture was taken when we arrived for sound check. First families have dinner here earlier and there are a lot of kids! Then late at night people from all around come down for a night of rock and garage music!

The staff there was really nice, resting space great and the food was really "Italian", in other words delicious!

Look at our official "Dirty Shoes, Balls and Old Songs" tour poster! Photo by Erik Weiss and art by the "valido" Bruno Morais!
Paula playing "To Let Myself Go", where she plays drums, washboard, melodica and sings!

"Good evening, we are Canja Rave!"

The following day. Good morning to the morning view from our room!

TRENTO

The first show of our tour in Italy this time was in the northern city of Trento.
We were graced by many beautiful scenarios along the way and a really warm and nice audience!
Canja Rave played at the literary cafe Bookique. Besides being avid readers this crowd was hungry for music too.
Many people come to this place to read available books and magazines.

A very special thanks to everyone that bought our albums this night!
We really hope to come back to Trento soon! Thanks Marco and the staff of Bookique!
