ALL TOGETHER WITH CANJA RAVE IN JAPAN!!!

Canja Rave has been invited to participate on the 15th edition of the festival Minami Wheel, which takes place in Osaka, Japan!

This is an amazing festival and it's structured like South by Southwest, an important festival from Austin (TX) where Canja Rave represented Brazil twice. In 2009 and 2010.

At Minami Wheel, 95% of the artists are Japanese and never before has a band from South America participated in the festival.

This is very important to us, we dedicate our life to music and we have toured all over the world spreading our music, and playing in Japan would allow us to take our music even further and we would be representing Brazil for the first time in this Festival.
Besides touring Japan we want to mix our music with the Japanese culture in order to produce something very special.

To do so we will record a song together with the Japanese band BO-PEEP! We were together in two editions of the South by Southwest festival in the USA, and since 2009, we are trying to do a partnership of some kind. Time has come and we will record with them in Japan!

For all of this, we are doing a crowdfunding campaign (where our friends, fans, and really nice people will make this trip come true!!)

How it works:
In order to make this tour/recording possible we need economic support to cover all the expenses we will have (traveling and studio costs). We created some very cool rewards for those people that will support us. From a Japanese Kimono to mangas and post cards, songs in japanese to Chris' mustache!

In this link you will find all the rewards: "All Together with Canja Rave in Japan!"
You will be able to support our campaign in just a few clicks.
This is an ALL or nothing campaign, so if we don't achieve our economic goal you will get your money back.

This means a lot to us and we hope we can spread our music with great passion!
Thanks a lot for your time and for your support!

If you have any doubts of how this works please answer this mail and we will be glad to help.

With love
Canja Rave

Neste link voce encontrará todas as recompensas:

Canja Rave

Switzerland again.. Zürich, Bern and Thun!

Our first time in Zürich was very intense! We played@La Catrina...rock'n'roll style, friendly and crazy people  in the red light district! Wow!

We were sold out of vinyls there, our first show of the tour... Thanks folks!

Musigbistrot, Bern! Cool poster by Bruno Morais...the same guy who made the art of "Dirty Shoes, Balls and Old Songs", our 3rd album.

It was our second time there and it is always a great vibe and great food too. Thanks Andrea Azzi for everything.

Our rocker friends from the amazing band from Bern called "The Jackets" came to see us. Nice!

Canja Rave, Jackie Torera and Chris Rosales

Mundwerk, Thun for the 4th time!!
It is alway great to come back to this post card city and see many friendly faces!!

Sound check!! Reto you're a great host!!

Paula and Reto Kupferschmied

Cool photos by Pascale Amez, thanks again!

Like always this crowd made us feel very loved! Helping us singing even songs in Portuguese from our older albums!

Thanks once again Thun for being such a gentle and welcoming crowd! It will be a pleasure to come back as much as we can!

Canja Rave and our friend Remo Schneeberger who went to all of our shows in Thun so far! ;)

GENEVA - SWITZERLAND/SAMOENS - FRANCE

Canja Rave "sensualizando" in Geneva!

"Where do ducks go in the winter"????

That night Canja Rave was a "rocabilly" band...ok, we have some rockabilly influences too, no problem ;) but without bass...

 photos by Duca Leindecker

Usually people get really wild in Canja Rave's shows, but in Geneva people are really uptight, well behaved, and only this guy had the courage to do his crazy dancing by himself in front of the stage!

Paula and Guto Gagliardi

This tour was also a great opportunity to see good old friends! Paula met her friend Guto many many years later!

Paula, Alvaro and Chris

Also we had the chance to spend some great quality time in France with our producer from "Dirty Shoes, Balls & Old Songs" Alvaro Alencar, and the artists Duca Leindecker from Brazil and the Brendan Adams from South Africa!

Duca did a gaúcho churrasco (barbecue) in the snow. Where is the Rio Grande do Sul's flag?

Besides the barbecue there was plenty of good wine, beer and scotch to get us through the low temperatures. And not to be forgotten Brendan's in-cre-di-ble potatoes with new secret cooking techniques!

Chris, Alvaro, Duca and Brendan

We had the time to enjoy great views in Samoens and why not to go down hill at super speeds on top of sticks?!

ETs????

Chris, Duca, Guilherme, Alvaro and Paula

Bellow you can watch a video from Duca Leindecker's Twitcam which was broadcasted live from Alvaro's chalet! Good times, and "it's a small world after all"!!
